After taking an intensive textiles class learning how to weave on a cricket, 8-shaft, and a jacquard loom, I decided to make a product that utilized my love for fabrics and technology - hand woven QR codes!
QR, meaning. 'Quick Response' is a compilation of black and white squares that store Url and other digital information. when read by machine via smartphone or camera, the Code has the ability to redirect you to the information stored within the QR Code.
Above are early iterations of weaving QR codes. Both samples were created on an 8-shaft loom while using an in lay hand woven technique.
