MY NAME IS INDIA JOHNSON, an aspiring apparel designer with a passion for sports and the outdoors!
As a life long athlete and creative, I have always been interested in fashion and its non-verbal expression. from my youth playing softball, I was underwhelmed by how simple and bland workout clothing was. Even into High school and College, I felt that athletic clothing was never about expression and rarely focused on function. As a full-time student-athlete, I spend majority of my day in athletic/athleisure clothing. As a designer with strong technical skills, I aspire to create athletic/outdoor clothing that is functional, Lively, and Thoughtful!
